Ground Control

My son had his 23rd birthday last week-end, I catered the affair, the next day  my father in law was rushed off to the hospital with chest pains,( no not because  of my cooking!) I started my book about trolls, I am painting the walls in our first story renovation, I have a new operating system for my computer which I do not understand yet, and the child I gave up for adoption many years ago has contacted me. Sorry for not blogging so much lately but I think you guys see that I have a lot on my plate right now. I know that I have a lot of catching up to do and I promise you there will be more mythology, more trolls and more crazy funny stuff from me, so please just be patient. I am working my way through a tale spin as best I can. Here is pretty much how I feel:

Hi, Siv,

I figured something was up when I haven't seen you for a while. You do have a lot on your plate, but you'll get through it. I admire your honesty and hauntings from your past must be freaking you out a bit. Go with the flow. Take a DEEP breath. You'll get through it.

If you need an ear I am always around to listen. I am finally back home and settling in myself. So much to do this week. I'm having a belated birthday party on Saturday so there is lots of details to take care of to get things ready. Like you, I am a perfectionist and especially my home MUST and WILL be perfect.

Take care. Here's a virtual Bear hug from your virtual brother....

Confession: I come here mostly to see that cute little black and white cat that moves.

That's a lot of stuff Siv. I hope your father in-law is better. I also hope for a joyous reunion with your other child. And your son is just beginning the journey. I can see why you need to dance with the trolls.

You poor thing, you must have one big plate. Never your mind, take care of your life and we will always be here. Well, at least I will be :)

Yes, I guessed you must have been busy so I came to check you out. And it sounds like you have a lot on, and some pretty emotional things there to contend with.

I was adopted and recently met up with my mother after 35 years... so I know all about what you're going through. Big hugs to you.

And amongst all this, be sure to make a few minutes here and there for yourself - 'me' time is important when you have all this to contend with.

Bye for now
xx

best wishes

It's nice to see that you are still alive! Just let me know when you are back on and I'll come visit you here again. Although i do enjoy our emails. They are always fun. Sorry you have so much going on. Let us know how your father in law is doing. Wishing you the best.

Pace yourself, Siv. Who will look after you if you become ill? Your friends will be rooting for you, and patiently waiting for you to return to your blog. I have a new book trailer if you would like to check it out on my blog.

My anti-virus program won't let me install that email program of yours. Sorry. Stay the course, but lay into port for a rest every now and then, all right? Roland

Wow! Sorry I missed all this. Had a full plate as well but it seems yours is more of a platter than a plate.

I hope your father-in-law is well now.

And how exciting that your child has found you. I hope the two of you built a nice relationship with time.
