Too much want

Yes, thats me. According to chinese astrology I am born in the year of the dog. Always wanting to please others, a giving and compassionate. personality. A Dog is a listener and attentive. Sometimes though, Dogs should pay more attention to their own needs. In private, many Dog people worry a lot. I am a dog and I want too much.

How can someone want to much? Wanting can't be that bad can it? I guess unless the want is an addiction like food, alchohol, drugs, smoking, gambling, shopping, danger, etc. I have overcome my share of addictions, yes, been there done that. Smoking is the one thing that seems to be hanging on the longest. Even though I have quit many times, something always seems to come along and trigger my need for that particular comfort. Maybe it is because of to much want and not enough get. This year I have promised myself to be more aware of how lucky I am, and to focus more on being grateful for what I have instead of wanting all the things I can not have or should not have. Really is it that easy? No, I am still a dog with to much worry and to much want.

If you were born in one of the following years, you are a dog too:
1910*1922*1934*1946*1958*1970*1982*1994*2006

This is the year of the Rabbit

My friend Bugs says that the Rabbit brings a year in which you can catch your breath and calm your nerves.  It is a time for negotiation.  Now I ask myself how I can calm  down in the middle of all this building chaos, and I am told that to gain the greatest benefits from this time, I should focus on home, family, security, diplomacy, and my relationships with my children. Ok I can do that because I have to much want.

Check out your chinese animal sign and see if you recognize yourself
