The Traveler found this nest outside her sisters door. This picture reminds me of how dependent we are on one another, even on such a day as today. It is the 4th of July and Independence day. A day for celebrations in the USA. It is also a good day to celebrate birth. Since I am an American living in another country I think about this day as Americas Birthday but I do not celebrate it with picnics or fireworks. I am simply reminded of creation itself and the wonderful exploration of life that we are all entitled to. So for all of you around the world, Happy Creation Day! Explore it wisely.
The travelers first encounter with Golfing. She was the designated golf cart driver.
On Skype together for the first time. I do love Skype!
The Traveler has been busy trying out (and on) many firsts! Golfing, Cabin Cruising on the St.Croix River, Sushi (she says, YUK!) and Victoria Secret (she says YUM). Today will be her first 4th of July celebration. Let's hope she has fun.
This is a journal recording my Daughters (the Traveler) journey to the states to meet her Sister (the Artist) in Minnesota and her Brother (the Musician) in Denver for the first time.

Hello Siv:
Happy 4th...
Mike
Love following the Traveler's travels!
Happy Fourth of July to you and yours!
Hi Siv! Happy Fourth to you too! So looking at your two girls I wonder how you got such carbon copies in looks with these two. Holy cow is it obvious they are sisters. Amazing!
Glad she is experiencing lots of first. It's a grand way to learn about life and dif cultures. How fun.
Happy Creation Day :0)
I'm glad The Traveller is having fun! Happy fourth.
Skype shrinks the world a little. My baby is with her husband in Switzerland, and Skype keeps her in my sight. I hope your girls have a marvelous time!
The Traveller looks like she's having a great time. I'm just over from the blogfest, nice to 'meet' you!
Happy Creation Day to you too! I love the way you see the day.
Hey! I left a comment earlier but not sure it showed up so I thought I'd come and see; apparently not!
Your daughters are gorgeous and well, I know how hard it is for a parent to be away from the kids. My son left for Boy Scout camp 5 hours away and although he's only been gone for 1 and a half days, I miss him terribly!
Hang in there...
Smiles and hugs to you.
Wishing lovely travelers for your daughter, they are both beautiful
