Minnie-ism for today:
"Now you have gone and done it! I fa•ce'tious•ly disagree in labels! Color my butt green and sit on a cow!"
So tell me, Do you have it in you to be facetious and do you like it?

I think we can both say (since you've read my blog a few times.) That yes I do have it in me! lol I love that word!
I love this word! And I love being facetious! :)
Ooh that's a fun word! I will try to be more facetious from now on.:)
Facetiousness is the spice of life! You wear it proudly with Minnie to showcase yours for you. :)
Facetious humor is probably the sort that comes most naturally to me, and in my rela life, is probably the most common. I know online, I'm quite the nut, but that over-the-top thing embarrasses my children... My son and I have whole conversations in facetiae... *teehee*
i love the word facetious and use it quite frequently. I wish more people used it. It has such a perfect meaning
You might not think so by reading my blog, but I'm as facetious as they come when I'm with family and close friends. Minnie's point about labels is spot on!
My silliness is let lose on a regular basis because after all, who really wants to grow up?

What a great word! Thanks for posting and commenting on my blog!
Awesome word for today! Facetious is one of my favorite words. :)
I think I was born facetious. :-)
Sometimes, I have to rein myself in as not everybody understands the difference between facetiousness and rudeness. :D
I love saying that word . . . LOL.
I'm facetious some of the time--a lot of it comes out in sarcasm. :P
LOL. Now that's a word I try to live up to!

Oh Siv,
That is a great word and it describes me as well! I sometimes have to remember that all of my students don't understand my wit becuase they are autistic but we learn together! It is just who I am...glad to hear you are as well.
Great post!
Happy A to Z!
The Queen of English is never facetious -- not meant to be taken seriously.
Every word that comes from the Queen's mouth is serious, except for her occasional hyperbole. She strives for witty. Sometimes she actually is.

I think I know your Minnie. Oh, yes, I am so very facetious. I will be following you.
I LOVE this word. My husband's standard response when I use it is: "Stop showing off."
I usually get in trouble when I'm facetious...which is usually a lot ;)
I'm envious, I totally forgot that lovely word. I might make it my word for the day. Sue@JumpingAground (alliteration & drabbles)
