Contolled Patriots of Standard Word Abuse and the A-Z Challenge

Not long after I first started blogging I joined the A-Z blogging challenge and had the time of my life. This month long blogfest was created by Arlee Bird at Tossing it Out and one of the co-hosts was none other than Alex J. Cavanaugh.  During this challenge I made many new friends, learned a lot and using the alphabet for inspiration I opened up my creative mind. I had no plans, nothing was prepared, and yes at times the letters were very frustrating. April 2012 is set for another A-Z challenge; check it out by clicking on the badge which you will find on my sidebar.  I cannot wait, and I urge everyone to hop in there and take the alphabet challenge. You will meet a lot of people, have a lot of fun and sometimes you might even want to tear your hair out. You might even be inspired as I was to create something that will last.

The Controlled Patriots of Standard Word Abuse is a club that was started on April 8th 2011 and was inspired by a post created during the A-Z challenge. Gibberish came out of the letter G and has been following my blog once a month ever since. These posts are hosted by my alter ego Minnie, who you can read about HERE. Minnie is also a creation that came to life during the A-Z challenge. This game of Gibberish has proven to be a source of delight for many. Anyone can join in on the fun; all you have to do is have an imagination and play. As promised, here is a list of the blogs belonging to members of the CPSWA in order of their appearance:

Have a great week-end everyone!

I admire anyone who takes on these blogging challenges. I know I'd fail miserably at trying to produce a post a day. My hat goes off to you.

And we enjoy the gibberish!
Glad you tackling the Challenge again. The first one made such a huge impact on me and my blog that I've been a hundred percent sold ever since.

AHHHH, THE MEMORIES....

You forgot to mention one very important event that took place during that challenge.... Can you guess what it is?

You found you long, lost cyber brother....

I will ALWAYS be grateful for the challenge for for I never would have found my big Sis....

It's nice to be back...

Hugs,

Bro

I'm going to tackle the A-Z this year. April is already a madhouse for me. Why not make it even more hectic?

I think I might try this year. We'll see. Baby #3 is due mid February though so I might still be too sleep deprived. Although that could make for some rather fun (and very short!) posts.

I'm thinking of entering the A-Z challenge. It sounds like a lot of work, but I may be up to the challenge.

It's good to see you returning. The Challenge would be a lonelier place without Minnie's presence.
