Can you live without it?
I question myself, really I do. Can you live one day without a computer or cell phone? Some of you may have a job that depends on it, but when you get home, is the computer the first thing you turn on? How many times a day do you check Facebook or your e-mail, how often do you type away in a word document, and do you even remember how to write with a pen and paper? Do you have your cell phone constantly glued to your side? Well I am going to test myself and try to go a whole day without my computer or cell phone. Sound interesting? Do you think you can do it? Honestly I am not sure I can do it. Well here you go people, I have a challenge for you! Pick a day, any day and see if you can do it. My day is the 29th of September. I will not turn on my computer or cell phone on that day. I am very curious to see if any of you can do the same. Are we really addicts to this technology? I think not and I am making a stand. Let’s see who among you are brave and even dare to try.

I usually unplug one day a week -- more when Army Guy is in town. I don't miss it. I write a lot in notebooks, especially first drafts. So I can go pretty long without.
My biggest phone sin -- forgetting to turn it on for days. (Sure ticks the family off :-( )
I still know how to use a pen! That's usually how I write my stories. No cell phone, so that's easy. Computer... yeah, I rarely unplug. But there are days I really scale back!
Oh man I'm feeling very bad right now because I don't think I CAN turn it off. But I will in December so we'll see :)
Since I just got back online I'll skip this one.

I do this often... for several different reasons & I don't have to plan it. It's easy for me to "unplug" from the effery of the internet world. *shrug*
I really like this idea. I want to try it. Sometimes all of this technology gives me a headache. I think I need to go hiking or something lol ;)

We have started a "media free" night at least once a week so we spend quality time as a family. Not sure if I could last a whole day though
