My Memory Box

Some of the greatest moments in life are free. I try to keep these in my memory box, stored away safely behind my mind’s eye where I can take them out whenever I need too.  Overwhelming beauty, extreme peace, the abundance of joy and the sensations of love, these are the memories in a moment that are meant to be treasured. Here are a few that I collected these past few days.

My son and I looking over South Park Valley

Norway does have its mountains, but Colorado has mountains just as beautiful.

My memory box will never be too full and this week I will continue filling it. Hope you are filling yours as well.

Siv, the ones you'll hold dearest can't be captured by a camera. Glad you are having a really special time with your son.

So nice to meet you Siv. Those pics are gorgeous. Like Alex says many of our most treasured memories often occur behind the lens. I'm amazed at all the joy that this life holds. Thanks for reminding us of that.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Just stopping by from the Blogfest. I'm a little slow. Loved this post. I spent 18 years in Summit and Park County Colorado. I lived in Alma,CO (my husband was the mayor there) and Breckenridge, Frisco and Copper Mountain. My current WIP takes place on a ranch just outside of Breck. (a place we lived for two years) been dreaming about these places for over a month now and today there they are. That view as you come over Kenosha Pass and look into South Park is one of my AHA moments.

No such thing as coincidence. Today home is on an island in the Caribbean. Just the next adventure.
