When I found out that my brother was planning on taking a trip to Paris without me knowing I was upset! Oslo and Paris are not so far apart and after living in europe for over 20 years I still have not been to Paris!
I said something like this to him:
"Now I have been waiting years to sip wine at a french bistro on the Champs-Élysées and travel the halls of the Louvre, but little brother Castles are a must. Whether you like it or not I am meeting you in Paris and we are going to spend some time at the Grand Palais.
Now you may think you are sneeky, but I got a hold of your travel plans ...yes, I have inside sources... and I have a treat for you! We are having dinner with the president of France, Marie François Sadi Carnot, so make sure you pack something nice to wear! It's not every day you get to travel back in time!"
There was a lot of static on the phone line. He wouldn't leave without me...would he?

So, the question is, if YOU could walk into Butterman Travel, Inc. and book a time trip, where and when would you book it to? Now, in the story, there are rules and regulations--you can't just book a trip anywhere/anytime, which is why you need a certified time-craft pilot and trip guide. There are paradox factors and parallel shifts to consider, and if the government catches you in a violation, you better believe you'll be in some deep doo-doo.
But for the purpose of this blogfest,PK set those rules aside so everyone can be free to have some fun. To learn more about how commercial time travel operates, and how the government wants to have full control of it, pick up your copy of Butterman (Time) Travel, Inc. when it launches on

Here's the list of all those participating in today's theme. Hop around and see where they'd pick their time trip to. Should be very interesting and loads of fun!

Thanks so much for jumping in and participating, Siv! I agree Paris is fantastic! Imagine being there during the Renaissance. Wow! French food and wine are my fave!
LOL...
I WOULD NEVER leave without you, Sis! What fun would it be without my favorite Sis.... Besides, I need a HOT DATE for dinner.
Don't worry about the clothes... I'm sure I'll find something awesome to wear... it is Paris... the fashion Capitol. lol.
I'll admit, Paris isn't my personal favorite, but I can't believe you haven't gone there yet. As long as you're in Europe, force yourself to see the things. . .with or without presidents on your side :)
Paris is amazing. The Eiffel Tower is my favorite place on the planet. Good choice.
CONGRATS to Pk! Great book cover!
Congrats to PK on her book! I like reading about time travel. Not participating in the hop, but will check out all those posts!
Nice way to post about the bloghop, Siv! (and Paris, a city that I could easily live in, if I had the funds)
See, this is when you have to set your time travel gear back just a little so you can go kick your brother's rear, then take off. ;)
Yay for Pk!
Sounds like your connection with your brother is Iffy. You might want to try email...
You and your brother are going to have a wonder trip! I am so jealous!! ;)
I tried to go to Camelot but with Victor and Alice along, I got side-tracked to 1834 New Orleans. :-)
And the 14 reviews for Victor's book are for the PRINT VERSION. I have ZERO reviews for his AUDIOBOOK! Ouch.
I so want to go to Paris too! Hope you get there and have a fun trip.
Hi, Siv,
I hope you do get to visit Paris sooner rather than later. That's somewhere I'd like to visit as well.
What is it about Paris? We all want to go there, maybe someday we can! LOL Wouldn't that be fun a group of writers, blogging buddies meeting in Paris for a true first!
I'm ready - how about you!
You two are going to have so much fun!
Hey Siv, I've been lucky enough to travel to Paris many times. I never get over how beautiful she is! I have so many trying to squeeze into my luggage that I can't offer you a place in my next trip in a month or so. But when you get there, do all those things. I've never met the President though!
How's the book selling?
Denise
Your the second person going to Paris! I hadn't even thought of that, what a lovely idea!
Tina @ Life is Good
Figures. Can't get away from government regulations, even in fiction.
A trip to Paris past, present, or future, would be a fun choice!
I had the privilege of visiting Paris when I was much younger... it's my favourite city!!
The Eiffel Tower and the Louvre are AMAZING spots!

Good one Siv; keep Michael in line :)
.....dhole
I did have the chance to sit and have a coffee while I lived near Paris back in '92 and I still remember choking as I had to pay $15 for the "honor" of sitting on the Champs!
I'd love to visit Paris someday.
i'd so eat some french bread with you at the top of the Eiffel Tower...just say when!
